The Philippine Bar Exam Results for September 2010 have been released just today, March 17, 2011, by the Supreme Court of the Philippines thru LCD monitors installed at the Supreme Court front yard and also on its official website.
The said bar exam, which is a professional licensure examination for lawyers, took place in September 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2010, with a total of 4,847 examinees, the least number of examinees in the last 8 years.
And it also resulted to a lowest passing percentage ever during the last 8 years.
Only 982 of the 4,847 examinees passed the exam. That's 20.26%!
The first two topnotchers in the 2010 Bar Exams both came from Ateneo de Manila University. On top is Cesario Antonio Singzon Jr with 89% followed by Filemon Ray Javier with 86.95%.
Singzon is now the 20th first placer from Ateneo de Manila Law School and his 89% grade ranks him 71st among the 98 first-placers from 1919 to 2010. He ranks higher than former Executive Secretary Ronaldo Zamora (86th, 87.3%) and 2010 Presidential Candidate Gibo Teodoro (93rd, 86.185%)

ReplyDeletethe bar examiner QUIMBO offers his INSULTING advice: "When i read some answers , i was like 'what did he say?'. Many of those who got a grade below 50 DID NOT KNOW HOW TO WRITE AND SPEAK IN ENGLISH. THEY HAD NO SENSE. The reasons why a high number of examinees are disqualified vary. The MOST COMMON, I THINK, would be the inability of the examinee to express himself in English. Because the law is written in English and because the advocacy needs to be in English language, the examinees must be able to answer questions in English"
commenT: SPEAK IN ENGLISH??? WHAT DID YOU SAY MAN??? CHECK YOUR ENGLISH! YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO BE A BAR EXAMINER. BAR CANDIDATES ARE NOT SPEAKING IN THE BAR EXAMS, THEY ARE WRITING. MANY LAWYERS ARE MORE COMPETENT THAN YOU. YOU JUST HAD THE CONNECTIONS THAT IS WHY YOU WERE CHOSEN TO BE THE BAR EXAMINEE. Now, YOU WILL FACE DISGUST FROM THE FAMILY OF THOSE WHO YOU DID FAIL. IT IS GREAT INSULT also TO THE LAW SCHOOLS including ateneo, UP, san beda, etc. that they produced graduates without sense and who are imbeciles in English.
hindi ikaw nag top, pareho lang kayo ng school. you felt kasi na ikaw yun
ReplyDeletehindi ikaw ang nag top, pareho lang kayo ng school, akala mo ikaw ang nag top, nan liit ka pa ng ibang tao, be proud of your achievement and not belittle others because of the achievements of others that you think it was yours, para kang masamang ipirito na pumapasok sa katawan ng ibang tao, akala mo ikaw yun, crazy!
ReplyDeleteKailangan talaga i-single out ang ust? That shows your inferiority complex to that prestigous university. Humanda kayo sa 2011 bar exams, MCQ ka na yan.
ReplyDeleteKung bobo ang ust, bakit number 1 sa PRC? Ang yabang niyo jan s bar exam kala niyo hindi ko alam mga likeage nyo jan.
ReplyDeleteeveryone here is pathetic...you should not be questioning one's school for their incapability..being on top doesn't gave you the right to down other's spirit. what if you are on the same footing?we should be all supporting each other...that's the quality of a real professionals ryt?
ReplyDeletegrabe!! bobo raw ang UST? Alam ko may breed ang graduate ng UST yan Ateneo pag nababasa ko ang name na Merceditas at Mike A. may pumapasok sa isip ko.
