'300' Gives Way To The Ninja Turtles

After staying in the #1 slot of the US Box Office for two consecutive weeks since its debut, the movie '300' fell down to #2 during the last weekend (March 23-25) and gave way to the new release Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). TMNT is an animated action, adventure, fantasy film which utilizes the voices of Chris Evans of Fantastic Four, Patrick Stewart (Star Trek), Sarah Michelle Gelar of the Buffy series and Asian actress Zhang Ziyi of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Opening weekend sales for TMNT is $25M, still far from the $72M weekend sales of '300' when it opened two weekends ago. Though, both films are produced by Warner Bros. Pictures.

3. "Shooter," $14.5 million.
4. "Wild Hogs," $14.4 million.
5. "The Last Mimzy," $10.2 million.
6. "Premonition," $10.1 million.
7. "The Hills Have Eyes 2," $10 million.
8. "Reign Over Me," $8 million.
9. "Pride," $4 million.
10. "Dead Silence," $3.5 million.
