All I thought was that, Toni Gonzaga, whose song Catch Me I'm Falling climbed up 12 notches last week, will be the first solo artist for 2007 to land on the #1 spot.

I was wrong, because it's Rachelle Ann Go via the song "Alam ng Ating mga Puso" who landed on the top spot and becomes the very first solo artist to reach #1 in the Myx Hit Charts for 2007, which for the past 6 months has been dominated by groups or bands. Rachelle's song climbed an amazing 14 notches.

Top charter for 4 consecutive weeks, Callalily's Pasan slipped to #2, failed to match Magbalik's impressive streak of being #1 for 7 consecutive weeks sometime in March.

New entries this week are You're the Inspiration by Dianne Elise, Tuloy Pa Rin by Sponge Cola and Ang Katulad mong walang katulad by Orange and Lemons.
