The third installment of the Bourne series grossed $70.2 M during the last weekend, the highest weekend opening ever for the month of August, snatching Rush Hour 2's previous record. The Bourne Ultimatum, which brings back Matt Damon, surpassed The Bourne Identity's weekend opening of $27.1 and The Bourne Supremacy's $52.5.It's indeed a tough challenge for Rush Hour 3, which opens on August 10, to claim back the record of highest opening weekend ever for August.
