UAAP Season 70 Championships: Green Archers wins over Red Warriors

The Green Archers finished with 73 points, 9 points higher than the Red Warriors.
Cholo Villanueva and JV Casio were declared the Finals' MVPs.
DLSU has restored their reputation in basketball with their new title after it was suspended in UAAP Season 69 due to negligence, as caused by its players' ineligibility to play for the team.
Before the game, an awarding rite for individual players was held. Jervy Cruz of the UST Growling Tigers was named Most Valuable Player of UAAP Season 70. He was also bestowed with PS Bank's Maaasahan Award.
The season's Mythical Five were also named and they are JV Casio (La Salle), Rico Maierhofer (La Salle), Mark Borboran (UE), Chris Tiu (Ateneo) and again Jervy Cruz (UST).
Other awards given were Rookie of the Year for Ron Cawaling (FEU), KFC's Assist Delivery / Best Passer Award for Japs Cuan (UST) and Smart Defensive Player of the Year Award for Edwin Asoro (NU).
