LUNA AWARDS 2007Film Academy of the Philippines
December, 2007
Fresh from winning as Best Drama Actor in the 21st PMPC Star Awards for TV, John Lloyd Cruz has another blessing this year for being one of the nominees as Best Actor in the 25th Luna Awards for his 2006 movie All About Love.
Star Cinema's Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo leads this year's nominees for Luna Awards with 8 nominations followed by Unitel's Inang Yaya with 6 nods.
Kalelo, Kubrador and Sukob each has 4 nominees.
Judy Ann Santos scores two nominations for Best Actress, one for Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo and another one for Don't Give Up On Us. She's up against Maricel Soriano for Inang Yaya and Gina Pareño for Kubrador.
Unfortunately, Judy Ann Santos' leading men on those two movies, Ryan Agoncillo and Piolo Pascual, fail to score a nomination giving way to John Lloyd Cruz, Rustom Padilla and Sid Lucero, and to veteran actors Eddie Garcia and Robert Arevalo.
Cesar Montano of Ligalig was also snubbed in the Best Actor category.
