American Idol 7: Top 20 Eliminations

After sending home Colton Berry, Garret Haley, Amy Davis and Joanne Borgella last week, four more American Idol 7 hopefuls had to step down Thursday night, February 28, 2008.Jason Yeager, the 28-year old guy who admitted his lucky charm is a pair of underwear he wears to every big event in his life, was the first one to be eliminated. Probably, he wore a different underwear that night.
Yeager's elimination was expected but for the three others, it was a big surprise.
Youngest contestant Alaina Whitaker and Alexandrea Lushington, who sang If You Leave Me Now the previous night, were the next to leave.
But the most surprising was the elimination of Britney Spears' rumored ex-boyfriend Robbie Carrico, who in a way, had more professional experiences than the other contestants.
Next week, each of the Top 16 remaining finalists will strive once again to gain a slot in the Top 12.

It was announced that 'American Idol Gives Back' special returns this season, with the Hollywood's biggest stars such as Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, Miley Cyrus, Daughtry and Carrie Underwood.
