'Caregiver' reaches 100-million peso mark

Star Cinema's Caregiver has already earned $2,495,391 gross revenues since its exhibition last May 28, 2008.During its opening weekend, Caregiver had gross earnings of 62.9 million pesos and by the end of its 2-week run, the Sharon Cuneta starrer already has an estimated gross revenues of 110 million pesos.
For its 2nd week, the movie had to suffer fierce competitions with Hollywood blockbusters Kung Fu Panda and The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
In the over-all Philippine boxoffice results for 2008, Caregiver becomes the biggest box-office hit of 2008 when it beats the gross revenues earned by the Valentine movie My Bestfriend's Girlfriend.
At this point, Sharon Cuneta might be the Box Office Queen for 2008. As for the Box Office King, Richard Gutierrez is the clear front runner.
