Entertainment Weekly has listed down ten (10) breakout stars in Hollywood for 2008, which include singers, actors, actresses, TV personalities and even a canine that made breakthrough performances this year.

Most notable of the 10 are promising artists David Cook, the winner in American Idol Season 7, and Demi Lovato of Disney's Camp Rock.
