7th Gawad TANGLAW Awards (2009) winners announced

Gawad Tanglaw has revealed the full list of winners for the 7th Annual Gawad Tanglaw Awards with 'Ploning' receiving the most honors.'Ploning' which is the Philippines' official entry to the 2009 Oscar Awards, was recognized the Best Film of 2008, tied with indie films such as '100' and 'Jay'.
Judy Ann Santos, who plays Ploning in the movie, was hailed Best Actress alongside veteran actress Anita Linda for 'Adela'.
Other than the Best Film and Best Actress awards, 'Ploning' will also recieve honors for Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Story, Best Cinematography and Best Editing during the awarding ceremonies slated on March 2, 2009.
For the television category, both ABS-CBN and GMA were honored Best TV Station of the Year.
