Watch 'Selda' this Valentine's Day!

The North American version of the multi-awarded indie film Selda (The Inmate) will be having a Valentine's Day screening at the Robinson's Galleria for the Queeriosity International Film Festival.
Selda, which is directed by the unbeatable tandem of Paolo Villaluna and Ellen Ramos, stars Sid Lucero, Emilio Garcia, Michael de Mesa and Ara Mina.
As what the title implies, Selda is about a love affair between two inmates played by Sim and Emilio.
Here and abroad, Selda has earned numerous awards and citations.
During the 24th PMPC Star Awards for Movies, Emilio won as Movie Supporting Actor of the Year and another one of the movie's Production Designer.
In the GAWAD Tanglaw, Selda won 5 awards: Best Actor (for Lucero), Best Supporting Actor honors (for De Mesa and Garcia), Best Editing and Best Cinematography awards.
Sid Lucero and Emilio Garcia won another Best Actor and Supporting Actor trophies in the 31st Gawad Urian.
Last November, the two tied for Best Actor Award at the 49th International Thessaloniki Film Festival (TIFF) in Greece.
It will compete in the 19th Melbourne Queer Film Festival happening on March 18-29, 2009 in Australia.
