Akihiro Sato joins 'Celebrity Duets Season 3'

Hunky model Akihiro Sato, who is a Japanese-Brazilian hybrid, will be one of the contestants in the 3rd Season of Celebrity Duets Philippines on GMA 7.Other contenders include actor-producer Jomari Yllana, WBA Super Flyweight interim world champion Nonito Donaire Jr, Binibining Pilipinas World 2008 Janina San Miguel, entrepreneur Joel Cruz, photographer Niccolo Cosme, fashion designer Maxi Cinco, and actress-director Gina Alajar.
This is such one great news for the Akihiro lovers out there who have been constantly requesting for Akihiro to be cast in any shows on TV.
As a contestant of Celebrity Duets, we shall be seeing more of Akihiro as he sings and probably dances on stage, too far from what we usually see of him as a fashion and commercial model.
Prior to this, Akihiro appeared in an indie film entitled "Handumanan" which was screened at the Cinemalaya last July and at Robinsons' IndieSine earlier this month.
And there he starred alongside Jason Abalos and Ms. Chin-Chin Gutierrez.
Akihiro currently endorses Penshoppe and Blue Water Day Spa.
The 3rd Season of Celebrity Duets returns next Saturday, August 29, on GMA 7.

It's interesting to note that Niccolo Cosme, who is also one of the contestants, is the one who shot the photo of Akihiro above for YStyle, Philippine Star (Men's Health).
"My jaw dropped when I first saw him [Akihiro]... it was love at first sight..." Niccolo described his experience while doing the shoot with Akihiro.
Now, Akihiro and Niccolo will be competing against each other in Celebrity Duets Season 3.
Who will sing better, the photographer or the model? We'll see.
