The possible housemates of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up have been partially revealed.
Last Friday, it has been revealed that people behind Pinoy Big Brother Double Up have already come up with a shortlist of the possible housemates.
Out of over 50,000 people who auditioned nationwide, they have narrowed them down to just 50 (as of September 5), then later will finally reveal the official housemates for the much-awaited Pinoy Big Brother Double Up.
The names of the 50 housemates have not yet been disclosed but only the places where they're coming from were the ones revealed:
Eleven (11) possible housemates are coming fron the National Capital Region or Metro Manila, four (4) from Baguio City, six (6) from Pampanga/Tarlac and also six (6) from Batangas/Camarines Sur.
Visayas is represented by eight (8) possible housemates from Cebu/Bohol/Roxas while ten (10) are from the Mindanao area (Butuan/Davao/General Santos).
Meanwhile, five (5) are picked from those who auditioned in Europe with the help of The Filipino Channel (TFC).
They already gave out some clues of the possible housemates:
"a battered wife" who has "a battered mom"
a great lawyer
a woman with extraordinary beauty
a man who lost his social life
etc.
Why Double Up? Speculations are going on that Pinoy Big Brother Double Up will have both adult and teen housemates.
Or if not, two housemates are paired together and will compete as one to be the season's big winner.
In Big Brother Brasil Season 11, ex-housemates were paired with new ones. Will this also be the case in Pinoy Big Brother?
There's also this rumor that the double up means "two sets of housemates" competing against each other every week to live in the luxurious house. Losing team for the week will live in the "simple-living" house.
Well, all are still rumors for now, but one thing is sure: it's going to be so exciting!
Pinoy Big Brother Double Up premieres October 4, 2009, Sunday, on ABS-CBN Channel 2.
