Akon Freedom Tour Live in Manila tonight

R&B singer-songwriter Akon has arrived in Manila for his concert tonight, October 23, 2009 at the Araneta Coliseum.The concert is entitled "Akon Freedom Tour" and will have Fil-Am R&B sensation Billy Crawford as guest.
It can be recalled that the said Freedom concert of Akon was supposed to be held in the country in May 23, but was postponed to July 4 because of the AH1N1 Influenza Virus scare.
But due to an unforeseen circumstances relating to Akon's family problems, the July 4 concert was moved to October 23.
And finally, the twice delayed concert will finally push through.
After Akon's Manila tour tonight, he'll fly tomorrow to Malaysia for another "Freedom" concert there.

The first time Akon visited the Philippines was in November 2007 for a concert also held at the Araneta Coliseum.
But his tour in Manila then was made extra special when he guested on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 (in less than an hour).
He entered the PBB house and met 5 celebrity housemates there such as Jon Avila, Donald Geisler, Victor Basa, Gladys Guevarra and Mariel Rodriguez.
Akon's actually the first international artist to enter the PBB house.
Will he enter the house again this time?
It would be so much fun and I'm sure he'd like Melisa Cantiveros there.
But unfortunately, due to tight sked and need to fly to Malaysia after his Manila concert, that would be very impossible.
