Kapampangan stud Jay-L Dizon finally gets his big break in showbiz as he is being introduced in Joel Lamangan's latest film entitled "I Love Dreamguyz".He plays the lead role in the said movie, alongside Marco Morales, Sherwin Ordoñez, Mhyco Aquino and Miggy Valdes.
Jay-L started out as Owie Dizon when he joined MTB's TV Idol Ur 'D Man in 2004.
Then he tried auditioning for Star Circle Quest, whose grand winner was Hero Angeles with Sandara Park as runner up, but he didn't make it to the shortlist.
After those two unsuccessful attempts, Owie joined on MTB again, this time for "Luv Idols: Ur 'D Pair", but the male winner then was Kean Cipriano (now lead singer of Callalily).
Leaving the name Owie Dizon behind on ABS-CBN, he resurfaced as Jay-L Dizon on GMA 7's Starstruck 3: The Nationwide Invasion where he luckily made it to the Top 16.
He could have stayed longer in the competition had it been he was not disqualified for having his own manager.
Early this year, Jay L auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother but still luck wasn't on his side yet.
And months later, the time has come for Jay L who continues to pursue his dream of becoming a star.
Now 20 years old, Jay L is all grown up and mature and becomes a daring hunk in his debut movie "I Love Dreamguyz", which hopefully could lead to more exciting and challenging projects for him in the future.
