'The Last Prince' defeated in the ratings battle

The combined force of 'Darna' and 'The Last Prince' on GMA 7 was strong last Monday, January 11, 2010, but it turned out to be weaker than two ABS-CBN shows, based on the figures provided by AGB Nielsen.
'Darna' and the newly-launched 'The Last Prince' both generated ratings of 30.9% last Monday in Mega Manila, but their rivals registered higher ratings for that particular day. 'May Bukas Pa' topped all the programs with 33.1%, followed by 'Dahil May Isang Ikaw' which had 31.9% ratings.
'The Last Prince' pilot last Monday was supposed to put back GMA 7's on #1 in the Mega Manila ratings race, but obviously it failed. Perhaps, it will catch up on its next episodes.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN's Tanging Yaman also had its opening night last January 11 and it rated higher than another program shown on the same timeslot.

Ikaw Sana 21.9% vs Tanging Yaman (pilot) 23.4%
24 Oras 29.5% vs TV Patrol World 29.3%
Darna 30.9% vs May Bukas Pa 33.1%
The Last Prince (pilot) 30.9% vs Dahil May Isang Ikaw 31.9% PBB Double Up 30.2%
Full House 23.8% vs BOF One More Time 24.1%
Queen Seon Dok 20.2% Saksi 12.7% vs SNN Showbiz News Ngayon 12.7%
