Mykiru's top favorite Maria Venus Raj from Camarines Sur emerged as the top winner in the Binibining Pilipinas 2010 pageant held Saturday night, March 6, at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City.She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2010, one of the 3 major titles of the pageant, and will now prepare for the upcoming Miss Universe 2010 pageant happening middle of the year.
During the Binibining Pilipinas 2010 pageant, she was also awarded Best in Long Gown, Best in Philippine Terno and Miss Friendship. It's actually a rare feat for a Miss Friendship recipient in the said contest to win any of the 3 titles. With that, Raj is truly a beauty matched with a wonderful personality.
This Bicolana-Indian beauty is 21 years old, stands 5'9" and has a very slim & sexy figure measuring 35-22-35. She took up Journalism at the Bicol University.
She was Miss Bicolandia 2007 2nd Runner Up and Miss Kaogma Tourism 2007.
In 2008, Venus joined Miss Philippines Earth and won the title Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism. She's now the third ex-Miss Philippines-Earth candidate to win at title in Binibining Pilipinas after Carlene Aguilar in 2005 and Nadia Lee Shami in 2007.

"I think...to achieve my dreams, I will really do my best, everything that I can do...to really...achieve what I want in life because at the end of the day, it is only me whom I can lean on, it is only myself whom can help me a lot. So I think...I would prefer..to..be with myself and to...have God within me so that I can achieve every dream that I want."
