Early Birds (From L-R): Misters Ireland, Montenegro, New Zealand and Germany
The candidates for the Mr. World 2010 pageant have started to arrive since yesterday in Incheon, Korea.
The first contestants to arrive were Mr. Germany Michael Piechler, Mr. Ireland Kamal Ibrahim, Mr. Montenegro Predrag Pavlicic and Mr. New Zealand Arnold Du Toit.
Mr. USA Ivan Rusilko is also now in Korea and will try his luck once more in a male pageant after he placed 11th in the Mister International 2008 pageant held in Taiwan (ROC).
Mister Croatia 2009 Bruno Orešković will not be representing his country in the pageant. Instead, it's Mister Croatia 2008 Dino Bubicic who's been sent to represent Croatia.
The youngest contestants this year are from Georgia and Poland (both 18) while the oldest is the candidate from Germany, who's 32 years old.
Mr. Vietnam Lê Xuân Vinh Thuy, who competed in the Mister International 2009 pageant where he placed in the Top 15 and named Mr. Photogenic, was asked to compete in Mr. World 2010 but he begged off because of conflicts in his schedule. The Vietnamese supermodel is reportedly busy shooting for a film in Vietnam.
Mr. Romania Voicu Ruslan Panzar is a popular personality in his country where he is fondly called as "The Ricky Martin of Romania".
Mr. Swaziland (at 6'5.5") is the tallest delegate while Mr. Malta and Mr. Singapore are the shortest, at 5'9" (still tall).
