The American Idol Season 9 Top 9 performances have just wrapped upearlier in the US and the Top 9 finalists performed songs of The
Beatles' John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
The order of the performances was: Aaron Kelly (Long and Winding
Road), Katie Stevens (Let It Be), Andrew Garcia (Can't Buy Me Love),
Michael 'Mike' Lynche (Eleanor Rigby), Crystal Bowersox (Come
Together), Tim Urban (All My Loving), Casey James (Jealous Guy),
Siobhan Magnus (Across the Universe) and Le Dewyze (Hey Jude).
You can't keep from comparing some of them to previous American Idol
contestants because they sang the same song: Kelly to David Archuleta,
who also sang 'Long And Winding Road' in 7th Season's Top 11 round and
Lynche to David Cook, who performed 'Eleanor Rigby' during the Season
7's Top 12.
For me, the best performances came from Stevens, Bowersox, Urban,
James and Magnus. America, please vote for them to stay, most
especially Tim Urban!
The Top 9 will be down to 8 tomorrow during the Results Show, with
David Archuleta, Jason Derulo and Rihanna as guests.
