Acoustic singer and A-POP member Jaco Benin makes his acting debut on TV as he joins the young cast of Gimik 2010 on ABS-CBN.
Jaco is one of the many new faces being launched on Gimik 2010, or I must say, he's among the newest heartthrobs on TV today. Will he be the next Diether Ocampo, who's one of the original Gimik barkada? Pwede!
In Gimik 2010, Jaco is among the 4 members of GBOIS, the campus heartthrobs, and will be paired to Hannah Flores (also a newbie singer and daughter of musical director/arranger Homer Flores).
19-year-old Jose Carlo Benin is the son of Side A's bassist Joey Benin or Joey B., and that explains why Jaco is a musically-talented guy.
Jaco is among Chalk Magazine's 10 Boys of Summer alongside Coco Martin, as featured on the current issue. (You can still grab a copy of it.)
Also a regular performer on ASAP XV, he's being co-managed by Cornerstone Talent Management and Star Magic, just like Sam Milby and Richard Poon. (Marrki Stroem of Pilipinas Got Talent is also from Cornerstone)
