'Shrek' characters such as Shrek himself, Fiona, the Donkey and Puss in Boots are facing a 'sexy photo scandal' after appearing in suggestive poses in the American fashion magazine VMAN.


Yes, the supposedly fashion pictorial has turned into a sexy photo scandal because many could not take seeing their favorite 'Shrek' characters posing sexy for VMan magazine.


Others also believe that it's just a timely publicity for the upcoming Shrek movie entitled 'Shrek Forever After'.


The latest issue of VMan with Shrek in it will hit magazine stands on April 20, then a day after, the movie will premiere at the TriBeca Film Festival in New York. The movie's regular showing is scheduled on May 21.


DreamWorks reportedly regrets giving permission to VMan to do such photo shoots for its supposedly wholesome and child-friendly characters.
