Venus Raj fights for her 'Binibining Pilipinas' crown

"Bring back the crown to Venus!"
That's what supporters of Maria Venus Raj, the dethroned Binibining
Pilipinas-Universe 2010 titleholder, have ever wanted since she lost
the title last Monday.
And now, that's also what Raj wants for herself. She just had a live
interview on ABS-CBN's The Buzz today and she said she will fight for
her crown. Her lawyer is already taking the necessary move to bring
back the title to her.
Until now, it is still unclear for Venus the real reasons why she was
stripped of the title. According to Venus, BPCI took the crown from
her just because she didn't tell them that she was born in Doha, Qatar
and not in the Philippines when in fact, she was very vocal about it
during the audition and even during the pageant. She said he has a
video interview to support it.
For me, BPCI really made a mistake on this one. It seems like BPCI is
trying to say that they didn't know Venus is half-Indian. Hellooo?
Everyone knew about it.
