The biggest upset so far has just happened in the FIFA World Cup 2010 or Copa Mundial 2010 for the Spanish people when Team Spain lost to Team Swiss (Switzerland) on Day 6, June 16, 2010.It was an upset because Team Spain is considered a giant and a team to beat. It's 2nd in FIFA World Ranking and #1 in Europe, that's why Swiss beating them was a shock yesterday.
The score was 0:1 and elected man of the match was Swiss Midfielder Gelson Fernandes.
Prior to that match, Honduras faced Chile finishing with 0:1 in favor of the Chileans and the Man of the Match was Jean Bearnsejour, Forward
from Chile.
Meanwhile, the 2nd game for host team, South Africa, and Uruguay in World Cup 2010 (but their first match against each other this year)
happened later with Uruguay scoring 3 goals and won the match.
Uruguay's Forward Diego Forlan was Man of the Match for the 2nd time. He was also elected as such during their 1st game against France.
And that makes Uruguay a leader as of now among the teams in Group A.
Day 7 (June 17) matches are: Argentina vs Korea Republic, Greece vs
Nigeria and France vs Mexico.
