[A MYKIRU EXCLUSIVE]Finally, I'm finished with the list of Pinoy celebrities with the highest number of Twitter followers.
I'm following most of them, that's why it wasn't that hard for me to check their number of followers, but what's harder is checking
one-by-one the Twitter account of over a hundred celebs.
Topping the list is Anne Curtis with 305,252 followers. She's the only
one to reach the 300k bracket and far from the one in 2nd place (Kris Aquino).
Interestingly, Anne's ex-boyfriend Sam Milby has the largest following on Twitter among the male local celebs. However, Sam's followers are not even half of Anne's and he ranks 10th over-all.
Alessandra De Rossi's original Twitter account, @alexderossi, has 83K
followers but it got hacked and the count could have been higher 'coz
some of Alex's fans there are beginning to "unfollow" the hacked account. She's still ranked 18th, but she now has a new one @msderossi.
Most of the names in the Top 25 are ABS-CBN stars, with only 4 from GMA 7 (led by Maxene Magalona) and 1 from TV5 (Ruffa Gutierrez). One is neither an exclusive talent of any network while one is not actually a celebrity in the stricter sense,
but a music channel.
