Nonito Donaire Jr from the Philippines triumphed earlier at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Donaire won via knockout, an impressive 2nd round TKO, vs Fernando Montiel of Mexico.
It's for sure unexpected on the side of Fernando Montiel, but for Nonito Donaire, it was an expected victory.
In his post-fight interview, Donaire said he had a premonition of it 3
months ago that he would stop Montiel on the 2nd round.
And it did happen.

Donaire has claimed the WBO and WBC Bantamweight titles, his 3rd major
world division title.
His boxing record has improved to 26 wins with only 1 loss, and now having 18 knockouts.
Impressively, it was Donaire's 25th consecutive victory.
In the undercard bouts, another Filipino also won against a Mexican. Mark Jason Melligan won by unanimous decision against Gabriel Martinez.
