For the 2nd consecutive year, South Africa has won the Mr. Gay World title.
Heavy favorite Francois Nel, a 28-year-old Creative Writing/Visual Media graduate from South Africa, won Mr. Gay World 2011 at the Club Mwah! in Mandaluyong City, Philippines.
Francois succeeded Mr. Gay World 2010 titleholder Charl Van Den Berg who's also from South Africa.
Twenty-three (23) gorgeous gay candidates competed in the pageant.
Another big favorite Mr. Gay Australia Leigh Charles finished only as 3rd Runner Up. But he won 2 major awards: Best in Swimwear and Best in Formal Wear.
Host delegate Marc Ernest Biala made it as a Top 10 semifinalist and
also won 2 special awards. He's the only Asian to enter the semis.
