Pilipinas Got Talent Season 3's 2nd Placer Khalil Ramos is being tagged as the Justin Bieber of the Philippines.
It all started during PGT Season 3 Performance Night held last Saturday, October 22, when judge Ai-Ai delas Alas compared Khalil Ramos to international teen sensation Justin Bieber.
"Kung ang Canada may Justin Bieber, ang Pilipinas may Khalil Ramos," Ai-Ai said in the show.
It earned approval from the audience, but is it true that Khalil didn't like it?
Reportedly, Khalil doesn't like Justin Bieber nor the idea of being compared to him.
On KrisTV's episode last Monday, a day after Khalil won as PGT 2nd Placer, the 15-year-old teen cutie clarified that he doesn't hate Justin Bieber.
"I have no reason to hate him. It's just that his genre is different from mine," Khalil told host Kris Aquino when the latter asked him if he could sing Justin Bieber songs.
Khalil also said the same thing on Twitter later that day:
After PGT, Khalil will now get busy recording for his debut album (and I hope he becomes a regular performer on ASAP Rocks).
