Budoy and Nanay Elena get emotional at thanksgiving party

The advocacy-serye 'Budoy' had its successful finale last night, March 9, 2012, on ABS-CBN.

As the finale was being aired, the whole 'Budoy' cast led by Gerald Anderson were also watching the last episode together at their thanksgiving party held at Excess Bar in Timog, QC.

On this photo taken last night, 'Budoy' and adoptive mom 'Nanay Elena' (Janice de Belen) got so emotional at the thanksgiving party as they watched Budoy's finale and of course, as Gerald and Janice had their last bonding moment together as co-stars for the soap.

I know most viewers would agree that "Elena and Budoy" is among the best or most well-loved mother-and-son characters in Pinoy soap opera history (that the writers of 'Budoy' probably decided to kill Jacky, played by Jessy Mendiola, so that Budoy will have no one but Elena on his side.)

I will surely miss this soap, most especially the very touching and heartwarming scenes of Budoy and Elena.

Expect Gerald and Janice to get nominations or even win awards for their outstanding portrayal as Budoy and Elena.
