The NBA 2012 Playoffs: Western Conference Finals Game 5 between Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC Thunder) and San Antonio Spurs (SA Spurs) was held June 4, (June 5 AM MLA time) at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas and was aired live here via ABS-CBN.
Incurring 2 straight losses after 20 consecutive wins, the San Antonio Spurs tried to redeem itself by winning Game 5 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
But unfortunately, it turned out to be a 3rd straight loss for the Spurs as the very exciting Game 5 went to the OKC Thunder with 108 points, a 5-point lead vs SA Spurs' 103 points.
For their 3rd consecutive victory in the finals, Kevin Durant of the OKC Thunder was again the Best Player with 27 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
Manu Ginobili also did a very good job for SA Spurs with his season-high 34 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.
OKC Thunder now lead series, 3-2.
