UAAP Season 75 Finals Game 1 Results: Eagles beat Tigers

The UAAP Season 75 Finals started via Game 1 today, October 6, 2012, at the MOA Arena with the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles outscoring the University of Sto. Tomas Growling Tigers by the end of the 4th Quarter, 83-78.
And that despite UST was dominating the game during the 1st and 2nd Quarters.
QUARTER SCORES:
1st Quarter - ADMU 18-24 UST
2nd Quarter - ADMU 31-38 UST
3rd Quarter - ADMU 61-51 UST
4th Quarter - ADMU 83-78 UST
Thanks to Megan Young's ex-boyfriend and last year's Finals MVP Nico Salva (his gf now btw is Karla Aguas) for Ateneo's Game 1 victory. Salva was able to score 30 points, and is most likely to be the Finals MVP again for this year if his team finishes as the Champion.
Ateneo now leads the best-of-three series vs UST, and they're now just one game closer to a 5-peat victory.
Game 2 is set for October 11, 2012, 3:30PM, at the Aranete Coliseum. The UAAP Season 75 Basketball Awards will be at 2PM the same day. - www.mykiru.ph
