Regine Velasquez on Silver Concert : "I'm the new Piyok Queen!"

Regine Velasquez speaks up on Silver Concert , and says she's now being called as the new "Piyok Queen".

On GMA 7's 'H.O.T. TV', where Regine Velasquez is one of the hosts, the Asia's Songbird talked about her "Silver" concert at SM Mall of Asia Arena last Friday, November 16, 2012.
The said anniversary concert was cut short after she lost her voice during the middle part of the concert and was unable to do her remaining prods. (Read and watch videos: Regine Velasquez loses voice at 'Silver' concert)
Regine, still having a hoarse voice due to viral infections, opened up for the first time on TV about the much talked-about concerts. She got very emotional as she answered questions from her co-hosts Roderick Paulate, Jennylyn Mercado and Raymond Gutierrez.
According to Regine, she's ashamed of what happened, "Hiyang hiya
talaga ako sa mga andun, kasi nagpakita ako nang wala akong
ipinakita."
But she feels no regret that she continued to perform for the fans
that night. "I felt so loved. Naramdaman ko yung support ng mga tao na karamihan di ko kilala. Akala ko ma-di-disappoint ko sila. Pero di pala. Maraming salamat. Wala akong pinagsisisihan. I'm happy na
lumabas ako dun. Kumanta ako kahit wala akong boses."
Regine just laughed at the new title being given to her after she
made lots of "piyok" in the said concert. "Tinatawag na nga nila 'kong 'Piyok Queen'."
It was also announced that the repeat of the concert, now called as
"Silver: Take 2" will be held for free this December still at MOA Arena, with yet to be announced date.
"My audience deserve so much more sa pinakita ko dun. Sana makapunta
po kayo. Hihintayin ko po kayo," she said as she invited those who came to her Silver concert to keep their tickets and come again for the repeat show. - www.mykiru.ph
