US Elections 2012 Results: Obama wins

The US of A has held its 2012 Elections Tuesday, November 6, with the incumbent Democrat President Barack Obama winning over former Massachusetts Gov. Willard Mitt Romney from the Republican Party.
While the final and official voter turnout is yet to be determined, the partial and unofficial results of the US Elections for the Presidential Race as of this posting show that there were 119.6-million popular votes, 59.8 million of which were for Obama while 57.4M went to Romney.
As for the electoral votes, Obama garnered the needed 270 votes for him to win the Presidential race. He got 303 as against Romney's 206.
In his victory speech as US President for four more years (2012-2016), Barack Obama said that the best is yet to come and everyone, no matter who he/she is, can make it big in the US.
"I believe we can keep the promise of our founders, the idea that if you're willing to work hard, it doesn't matter who you are or where you come from or what you look like or where you love," said Obama in front of his thousands of supporters in Chicago. "It doesn't matter whether you're black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native Americans or young or old or rich or poor, able, disabled, gay or straight, you can make it here in America if you're willing to try."
The Democrats apparently have also ruled the Senate Race, winning 21 seats, while the Republicans won 8.
However, for the House of Representatives, it's the Republicans who won majority so far, 231 seats, while the Democratic Party has 191 seats.
OBAMA'S "FOUR MORE YEARS" PHOTO GOES VIRAL
Obama's victory tweet which came with the photo above and the caption "Four more years" broke Twitter records, becoming the most retweeted ever with 777,164 retweets as of this writing. It has also been favorited 274,749 times.
On his Facebook page where Barack Obama has 32 million fans, same thing happened. The photo becomes the most-liked Facebook photo ever, with 3,924,701 likes and still counting. - www.mykiru.ph
