Miss Universe 2012 is over, but it's still being debated online whether the judges picked the right Miss Universe 2012 winner or not.
Watch a video below of the Miss Universe 2012 Question and Answer Portion (Q & A) with the Top 5 finalists answering questions from the judges and see for yourself if they indeed made the right selection of winner and the runners-up. Full transcript of the questions and the answer are also available below.
Question to Miss Venezuela Irene Esser from Diego Boneta: "If you could make a new law, what would it be and explain why?
Answer: "I think that any leys in Constitution or in life, they are already made. I think that we should have... ah...a straight way to go...in our similar, or, eh, in... in our life has it this. For example, I am a surfer and I think that the...the best wave that I can take is the wave that I wait for it. So...please...do our only...eh...law that we can do. Thank you, Vegas!"

Question to Miss Philippines Janine Tugonon from Nigel Barker: "As an international ambassador, do you believe that speaking English should be a pre-requisite to being Miss Universe? Why or why not?"
Answer: "For me, being Miss Universe is not just about knowing how to speak a specific language. It's being able to influence and inspire other people...So whatever language you have, as long as your heart is to serve and you have a strong mind...to...to show to people, then you can be Miss Universe. Thank you!"

Question to Miss Australia Renae Ayris from Lisa Vanderpump: "As someone who might be winning a modeling contract, how would you feel if you were told to lose weight or risk losing an assignment?"
Answer: "Thank you for that question. I feel really comfortable in the way I feel and I think that's really important. If someone told me that I'm overweight, then I would completely ignore it. As long as I'm feeling good within myself, then I think that's all that matters. Thank you."

Question to Miss USA Olivia Culpo from judge Ximena Navarrete (Miss Universe 2010): "What is something you have done that you would never do again?"
Answer: "Okay, well, first I'd like to start off by saying that every experience, no matter what it is, good or bad, you'll learn from it. Ahm, that's, I mean, that's just life. But something I've done I've regretted is probably picking on my siblings growing up, because you appreciate them so much more as you grow older. You get closer with your family. But, everybody fights with their siblings right? So...But I don't regret it."

Question to Miss Brazil Gabriela Markus from Kerri Walsh Jennings: "Like you, I wear swimsuit when I compete. What would you say to people who believe that women wearing swimsuits in a public forum reduces them to sexual objects?"
Answer (in Portuguese but was translated to English): "I believe that it's not just in the way that we dress that we show our true selves. We can show our character if we are using an evening gown or a bikini. The important thing is to show everyone the people that we are inside, in our hearts. Good night Las Vegas! Thank you!"
If I were to judge myself, here's how I rank the Top 5 finalists, basing on their answers during the Q&A round:
1. Philippines
2. Australia
3. USA
4. Brazil
5. Venezuela
