NBC's The Voice 2012 (Season 3) winner announced: It's Cassadee Pope! Bravo!
NBC's The Voice has just aired its Season 3 finale (Live Results Show) Tuesday night, December 18, 2012 (Dec. 19, Wednesday AM, MLA time).
Before the announcement of winner, the finale treated first the viewers with stunning performances from the finalists and guest performers.
Among the performances include The Killers and finalist Cassadee Pope singing together 'Here With Me', Kelly Clarkson with finalists Cassadee and Terry McDermott doing "Catch My Breath", Peter Frampton with Terry singing "Baby I Love You More", Boyz II Men with finalist Nicholas David and 3 other eliminated contestants sang "End of the Road, Avril Lavigne with Cassadee doing "I'm With You" and more.
Rihanna and Bruno Mars were also there to perform their respective latest chart-topping singles.
Rihanna performs "Diamonds" at The Voice Season 3 finale.
Despite being sick, Bruno Mars pulls off a performance of "When I Was Your Man".
And for the much-awaited announcement, 23-year-old pop singer Cassadee Pope from West Palm Beach, Florida was announced as The Voice Season 3 winner (as what I predicted.) Well-deserved!
Watch announcement video of Cassadee Pope as The Voice Season 3 winner:
Cassadee was coached by Blake Shelton, who was also the coach of The Voice Season 2 winner Jermaine Paul.
The Voice Season 3 finale was extra special because it's coach Christina Aguilera's 32nd birthday celebration.
It was also her last appearance as coach in the show 'coz she and Cee Lo Green won't be coming back for Season 4, and
they will be replaced by Shakira and Usher.
For the last time, Christina, Cee Lo, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine sang together Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" on the show's finale right before the announcement of winner.
A preview for the next season with Shakira and Usher joining Blake and Adam as coaches was also shown during the finale.
