X Factor USA 2012 finale results tonight: Who did America vote to be the X Factor winner 2012 on the eve of the supposed End of the World?
Let's all find out tonight, December 20, 2012 (Dec. 21 MLA time) as the X Factor USA 2012 finale - results show airs now, and I'll be posting here live results from the show.
In my previous blog post, I said that I want 13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar to be the X Factor USA 2012 winner over Tate Stevens and Fifth Harmony. We shall see.
The finale opened on the red carpet, showing the arrivals of the mentor judges and the X Factor USA 2012 Top 3 finalists, who did a group performance of "All You Need Is Love" while walking the red carpet until they reach the stage.
It looked cute, as it also featured cameo appearances from the eliminated X Factor USA 2012 finalists.
Next up was a performance from the very married Tate Steven with hottie girls dancing around him. He performed "Please Come Home for Christmas".
They're singing holiday songs obviously. The group Fifth Harmony then took the stage with "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)", while Carly Rose Sonenclar became Mariah Carey for a moment when she sang "All I Want for Christmas is You".
(But I think all I want for Christmas is Carly's brother Russell. Why he's so hot?)
Time to reveal who got the lowest votes among the Final 3. As expected, it's Simon Cowell's girl group Fifth Harmony. Based on previous weeks' rankings, a 3rd place finish actually is the highest that they could get, since Tate and Carly were just switching places in the Top 2 spots.
But I'm sure Simon will build them up the same way he did to One Direction, who also finished 3rd in the X Factor UK version in 2010.
Before the announcement of winner, performances first from Pitbull ("Don't Stop the Party" and "Feel This Moment" minus Christina Aguilera) and the oh-so-yummy One Direction as they tease the screaming girls with their latest single "Kiss You".
To excite us even more, Top 2 finalists Tate Stevens and Carly Rose sang together Miley Cyrus' "The Climb", before it was announced that Tate Stevens is the X Factor USA Season 2 winner and takes home the $5-million prize.
