Anne Curtis has apologized to Maja Salvador for her "MAJArot" joke on It's Showtime's 'Sine Mo 'To' segment yesterday.
While doing Sine Mo 'To' for today, January 24, 2013, show's host Anne Curtis took the opportunity to say sorry to those who got offended, particularly Maja Salvador, by her joke in the same segment the previous day, Jan. 23, when Anne Curtis told co-host Vice Ganda: "Ikaw ba si Maja? Kasi Maja-rot ka!"
Anne was referring to the Tagalog word "maharot" which is oftenly used to describe women who are flirty or slutty.
The Showtime hosts were just actually making fun and joking around to solicit laugh, as they usually do. Aside from "Maja", they also joked about "Allan" and "Kim".
Vhong Navarro to Vice: "Ikaw ba si Allan? ALLANdi mo kasi."
Vice to Vhong: "Ikaw si Kim? KIM Kong?"
But probably for Maja Salvador and her fans, Anne Curtis' "MAJArot" comment or joke is not funny at all especially during this time that she's being harshly criticized for dating Gerald Anderson, ex-boyfriend of her best friend Kim Chiu. (Read: Gerald Anderson and Maja Salvador are dating)
Realizing she might have offended Maja Salvador or probably after getting hate tweets from some Maja's fans (or maybe Maja herself texted her that she got offended), Anne Curtis issued a public apology on today's episode of 'Showtime'.
"I would like to apologize kung may na-offend po sa joke ko kahapon. Hindi ko naman po naging intensyon na directly maka-offend. It was really meant towards Vice. It was a joke. Pasensya na po sa mga na-offend. Sorry Maja," Anne has just said earlier on Showtime.

What an admirable act!
Anne happens to be under Viva Management, who also manages Sarah Geronimo. And as we all know, Gerald and Sarah were an item in 2012, before Gerald made the bold admission this January 2013 that he's gonna pursue Maja Salvador. - Mykiru.ph
