Party Pilipinas' opening number during its January 27, 2013 episode, which featured a sexy dance number between Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino, has caused the GMA musical variety show to be placed under probation for 6 months by the MTRCB.
The Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino's sexy dance number in 'Party Pilipinas' was deemed too lewd by many viewers, probably because it looked like they were doing a s3x-simulation dance. They even kissed for real at the end of their prod.
It immediately came to the attention of the MTRCB, who has found the said dance number as lewd, offensive and having s-xually-charged scenes. In other words, a violation has been committed by Party Pilipinas, which is supposed to be a PG-rated program airing every Sunday noon on GMA 7.
After meeting with GMA executives and show's producer and director last February 5, MTRCB has ruled that Party Pilipinas be placed under probation for 6 months (on a per-episode-review basis)
and ordered the network to do these things:
1. Publish a public apology in a newspaper of general circulation on or before February 9, 2013.
2. Broadcast a public apology in the next episode of 'Party Pilipinas' on February 10, 2013.
3. Comply with the 6-month Probationary Period
4. Require all concerned officials and personnel to undergo a Gender Sensitivity seminar to be provided by the MTRCB
Yesterday, February 9, GMA 7 has already issued its public apology as published in a newspaper, then same public apology was also broadcasted on Party Pilipinas' episode today, February 10, 2013. - Mykiru.ph
