Sarah Geronimo has been confirmed as one of the judges on 'The Voice Philippines' Season 1.
However, Sarah's Sunday musical show 'Sarah G Live' will already air its finale episode this Sunday, February 10, 2013, 2 weeks before its supposed 1st Anniversary on the 26th.
It's something unexpected, especially that shows of the same genre usually last so long in the Philippines. I'm talkin' about "Vilma!", "The Sharon Cuneta Show", "Superstar" etc.
But AT LEAST 'Sarah G Live' is going to air longer than the musical show "Songbird" in 2008, which was hosted by Regine Velasquez and lasted only for 3 months.
Forget about the not-so-cool ratings as the possible reason of its sudden exit 'coz according to ABS-CBN's official statement released Wednesday, February 6, 2013, Sarah Geronimo will sit as judge on the first season of 'The Voice Philippines' airing very soon. The statement also said that Sarah will also have her own drama anthology.
There's also a possibility that after the said upcoming movie with John Lloyd Cruz, the two will star in a "kilig-serye" later this 2013.
Despite the cancellation of "Sarah G Live," it's still a much more exciting year ahead for the talented Sarah Geronimo.
"The Voice Philippines" will be hosted by Toni Gonzaga. Joining Sarah in the judging/coaching panel are Bamboo, Lea Salonga and Black Eyed Peas' Apl.de.Ap. - Mykiru.ph

“SARAH G Live” ends on top of its game with its last episode airing on Sunday, 10 February 2013. After a year of bringing world-class performances to Filipino viewers here in the country and in TFC markets around the world, Sarah Geronimo moves on to fulfill other commitments. The Popstar, who recently renewed her contract with the Kapamilya network, will sit as one of the judges of “The Voice of the Philippines,” and will soon have her own drama anthology. Sarah is also busy filming her upcoming Star Cinema movie with John Lloyd Cruz, and is set to go on a Sarah G concert worldwide.
