Her FAMAS Best Actress win came 4 days after ENPRESS released the nominees for its 10th Golden Screen Awards for Movies with Angel
Locsin notably missing in the Best Performance by an Actressy in a Lead Role - Drama category.
Said category at ENPRESS snubbed Angel Locsin and favored to have these 10 nominees: Angelica Panganiban, Angel's co-star in 'One More Try', Agot Isidro, Bea Alonzo, Gina Alajar, Iza Calzado, Janice de Belen, Jodi Sta. Maria, Judy Ann Santos, Nora Aunor and shockingly LJ
Reyes, for her prostitute role in "Intoy Syokoy ng Kalye Marino".
It was the first ever FAMAS acting honor for Angel Locsin, who came at the awards ceremony in a stunning blue gown by Rajo Laurel.
Previously, she already earned two awards for the same role from 'One More Try'. First, she was the Movie Actress of the Year at the 29th PMPC Star Awards and also recently, she was named Film Actress of the Year at the 44th Box-Office Entertainment Awards by the Guillermo
Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
The FAMAS Best Actress trophy could be an early birthday gift for Angel Locsin, who turns 28 tomorrow, April 23.
