Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) is still mum on Theresa Fenger's withdrawal or disqualification issue, and it looks like they don't care releasing an official statement on that one.
Since Holy Week, it was being talked about in social media sites and pageant fora that Candidate No. 35 Theresa Marie Fenger aka Lana Roi got disqualified by BPCI after she was found out to have posed for the men's magazine FHM Philippines.
It was rumored that the model-singer, who's among the favorites in the pageant, already withdrew or resigned as a candidate even before BPCI ordered for her disqualification.
Theresa Fenger got disqualified for posing along with her group Eurasia in the March 2010 issue of FHM Philippines.
Again and again, another beauty got disqualified and now has been put to waste by BPCI for the same reason as Sandra Seifert in 2009. Megan Young reportedly was also disqualified from joining Binibining Pilipinas 2013 due to her top-less shots for Rogue Magazine.
Since last week, Theresa Fenger's profile and photos have been removed already at the official website of Binibining Pilipinas, and it's only now that the new replacement has been posted there officially (though she was already confirmed to be Theresa's replacement by pageant site Missosology.org last week).
Henna Kaizzelle Nicole "KC" Cajandig is the new candidate No. 35 replacing Theresa Marie Fenger, made official now with just 10 days left before the grand coronation night.
Cajandig is 20 years old (she's turning 21 this April 5) and hails from General Santos City. She stands 5'7", with vital stats of 32-25-34. She was a runner-up in Ford Models' Supermodel of the World Philippines 2008 search, represented the country in World Supermodel Pageant 2009 in Taiwan where she placed in the Top 10 and named Miss Photogenic.
Last March 23, Theresa Fenger was still excited about the upcoming pageant finale. "GUYS APRIL 14 is the pageant night...Hope to see you there!!!," she posted in her official Facebook Page.
But three days after, on Holy Tuesday, her FB post somehow confirmed that she's no longer part of the pageant and is ready to move on: "Finishing my songs and excited to move forward!!"
Here's how Theresa describes herself in her FB Page: "LANA ROI is Canadian born and raised, half German half Filipina. Canadian Idol finalist 06 and Miss Global Teen Canada 04 is also known as Century Tuna Winner 09. Former member of Girl Group Eurasia. And just opened for JLO in Manila."
Maybe she should join Miss Canada Universe pageant instead?
