Meet Gil Wagas, the newly-elected Mister International Philippines 2013 who will represent our country in the Mister International 2013 world finals to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia this November.
One of Cebu's top models and a former player of the UE Red Warriors, Gil Wagas Jr. representing Lapu-Lapu City bested 23 other candidates for the Mister International Philippines 2013 title during last night's finals held at the Fil-Oil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.
Gil stands 6'3", taller by 2 inches than June Macasaet who won for the Philippines its first Manhunt International title last November. Will he finally be our first Mister International?
Last night's pageant results were generally favorable except for the exclusion in the Top 6 of the big favorites other than Gil Wagas, such as:
Among the judges who selected the winners were Mister International 2012 Ali Hammoud from Lebanon and his runner-up Ron Teh
from Singapore.
