FIBA Asia 2013 Quarterfinals is happening today. Gilas Pilipinas' game once again is taking the primetime slot of 830PM.
The 9th to 12th classification games between Bahrain and Hongkong, and Japan and India, will also be held today, ahead of the quarterfinal games.
At the end of the quaterfinals, the Top 4 from Group E and the Top 4 from Group F will advance to the semi-finals.
Also happening on this day are the 9th to 12th Place classification playoff games between the eliminated teams.
AUGUST 9 SCHEDULE OF GAMES:
10:30AM - Bahrain vs Hong Kong
[Results: Winner - Hong Kong; Quarter Scores: 18-30, 43-43, 59-63, 79-87]
[Hong Kong will next play in the Battle for 9th Place game vs Japan, while Bahrain will battle for 11th Place against India]
12:45PM - Japan vs India
[Results: Winner - Japan; Quarter Scores: 16-25, 29-41, 50-54, 73-64]
[Japan will next compete against Hong Kong for 9th Place, while India will face Bahrain for 11th Place. Same matches already happened during the Preliminary Round: Japan, Bahrain won.]

Qatar trails at #36, Chinese Taipei at #46 and the host team, Philippines, in #45, closely followed by Kazakhstan in #46.
