Megan Young's introduction video as Miss Philippines candidate for Miss World 2013 is now up at the pageant's official Youtube channel.
129 candidates are expected to compete in the Miss World 2013 pageant happening in Indonesia this month, and so far, as of Monday, September 2, the introduction videos of 90 candidates are already available in the OfficialMissWorld Youtube Channel, including the video of our very own Miss Philippines Megan Lynne Young.
In the video, Megan introduces herself as a 23-year-old Senior student at the De La Salle - College of St. Benilde taking up Digital Filmmaking and a geeky girl during her high school years.
"I started out in the entertainment industry as an actress and host. But I always felt that there was something missing. I had the need to help out, whether be helping out the community or a one-on-one basis with a friend," she said. "The desire to reach out and touch other people's lives has honed me into the person I am today."
Megan ended her intro with this: "I'm every excited and proud to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss World 2013. I'm also looking forward to meeting the other candidates in Indonesia. See you there!"

Megan's video was posted there just last September 1, and is the 2nd most recently uploaded there, but it's already among the most-viewed videos, now with over 15,000 views.
Intro videos with more hits than Megan's are so far those of Miss Bulgaria Nanci Karaboycheva (82,275 views), Miss Malaysia Melina Bhullar (26,186 views), Miss Nigeria Anna Banner (19,885 views), Miss England Kirsty Heslewood (18,136 views), Miss Thailand Kanyaphak Phokesomboon (17,951 views), Miss Gibraltar Maroua Kharbouch (17,712 views) and Miss Hong Kong China Jacqueline Wong (17,069 views).
But their videos were uploaded way ahead of Megan's video, about 1 week to more than a month ago.
That could be a measure of Megan's popularity or her being a top pre-pageant favorite for the Miss World 2013 crown.
Today, September 3, Megan will now fly to Indonesia to compete in the pageant.
