Willie Revillame's noontime show 'Wowowillie' has already aired its finale episode last Saturday, October 12, 2013.
And it was so humbling for him to congratulate Wowowillie's rival show, ABS-CBN's 'It's Showtime', which is currently enjoying good ratings in the timeslot which he left back in 2010.
Many Showtime viewers were surprised when Vice Ganda greeted Willie Revillame on air during the opening of the show Monday, October 14, 2013.
According to Vice, he and Willie met by accident at EDSA Shangri-la Mall last Sunday. "Hi pala kay Willie Revillame. Nagkasalubong kami kahapon. Kinongratulate niya tayo! Hi Willie!"
A month before his show's finale, Willie already conceded to both 'Eat Bulaga' and 'It's Showtime', his gesture of congratulating Vice Ganda for Showtime's continued success could just mean all is fine now between the two noontime show hosts.
If you remember, there was this issue before that Willie was allegedly making "parinig" to Vice Ganda when he introduced Ate Gay as one of his co-hosts on "Wowowillie" last January. Willie described Ate Gay as a comedian who doesn't mock or ridicule other people.
Vice Ganda, on his part, also had the opportunity to get even when he made fun of Willie's controversial outburst on "Willing Willie" against co-hosts Ethel B00ba and Ate Gay.
Vice spoofed Willie and repeatedly made use of the latter's line "You don't do that to me!". The video of the said Vice Ganda's spoof on Willie even went viral on the internet. Watch it again here: (credit to ABS-CBN)
Now that Willie's show is no longer on air, (and especially now that his contract with TV5 expires today, October 15, 2013), Willie Revillame possibly is now just in the mood to make peace with everyone else (perhaps, including his former home network ABS-CBN with whom he had a rift for years). You know. The possibility is either he renews his TV5 contract, transfer to GMA 7, return to ABS-CBN or totally retire from showbiz. Which do you like for him?
