PRC has released the results for the September 2013 Licensure Examination for Teachers or LET.
And I'm so happy to share that my good friend Jeremy (Ernesto Doloso Jr) is among the 25,755 secondary teachers who passed the September 2013 board exam.
Congrats Jeremy!
I might also take said board exam next year or the following year. I'm a non-Education graduate, and I have to take first an 18-unit professional education course.
There were a total of 64,792 examinees for the secondary level, but only 39.75% of them passed. That's lower than last year's passing percentage of 43.50%, but there were lesser examinees that time (only 47,892).
For elementary teachers, meanwhile, the scenario is worse. There were only 19,384 passers out of 62,160 examinees or only 31.18%, much lower than last year's 49.29% passing rate.
This year's board topnotcher for elementary level is Miriam Miranda from the Golden Heritage Polytechnic College in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City with a score of 90.60, while it's Thomasian Dale Pradel who topped in the Secondary Level, with 93.00 grade, followed by Jade Christyn Leonor from UP-Diliman (92.60) and Aris Nisola from Bicol University in Legazpi City (92.40).
