SEA Games 2013 Medals Standings as of December 19

Nothing much has changed in the Medal Standings for the 27th SEA Games 2013 after Day 16. More medals are being collected by each of the 11 participating nations, but the ranking remains the same as the other day.
Thailand has maintained its top position as it continues on winning golds. It collected 8 more gold medals yesterday, to make its total number of golds as 81. The country's number of silvers further increased to 80, from a previous 66, and its bronzes increased by 4, now 66.
Still ranked 2nd is Vietnam, now with 64 golds, 60 silvers and 70 bronzes, and it's slowly widening its lead over the host country Myanmar, which has 60 gold, 52 silver and 57 bronze medals, ranking 3rd so far.
Indonesia meanwhile currently has the most number of bronze medals won, a total of 85, but it's only ranked 4th so far, because it has fewer number of golds (54) than those in the Top 3. It also has the 2nd highest number of silvers won, counting 62.
In far 5th place at this point is Malaysia with 33 golds, 34 silvers and 63 medals, while the 6th rank is still a close fight between Singapore and the Philippines. Based on the latest tally, Singapore
has 25 gold, 24 silver and 33 bronzes and the Philippines has won 23 golds, 27 silvers and 30 medals.
Only 3 days left, but still ranking in the bottom 4 and will definitely stay there 'til the competition ends are Laos, Cambodia, Brunei and Timor-Leste, with each having below 10 golds.
From 20 gold medals the other day, only 3 golds were won by Team Philippines yesterday. These are the medals won by Isidro del Prado Jr, Edgardo Alejan Jr, Jullius Felicisimo Nierras and Archand Christian Bagsit for Athletics Men's 4×400m Relay, Daniel Patrick Caluag for Cycling Men's BMX Cross and Jade Zafra for Taekwondo Women's 53-57 kg.
So far, the Philippines is most successful in winning gold from the Athletics events, 6 gold total, then in Wushu and Boxing where the country has 3 gold winners from each.
