I Am POGAY , a contest for handsome gay men on 'It's Showtime'

'I Am Pogay' contest has been launched on ABS-CBN's 'It's Showtime' today, January 18, 2014.
As the title suggests, PoGAY is coined after the words "pogi" (handsome) and
"gay". So many local celebrities are like that, right? (But sadly, mostly weren't out yet.)
The new and exciting 'Showtime' contest or segment features really good looking or handsome men who are gay, those who still act and dress up like real men but they're out and
proud to be gay.
In the tradition of 'That's My Tomboy', a contest for male-acting lesbian girls which will already have its grand finals soon, 'Showtime'
is already building up 'I am PoGAY' as a worthy replacement that will
surely be loved and followed by the viewers.
Based on initial reactions, the viewers are loving it, especially with its first set of contestants who were really handsome, talented and smart.
Contestant #1 was 23-year-old Dennishon Bryan Reyes-Javier, who revealed that his parents in Dubai don't know he's gay and chose the
contest as his venue to out himself.
I wonder why he has two surnames. (like a married woman who's using both her surname and her husband's surname)
The 2nd contestant meanwhile (photo from Facebook) already looked familiar to some because he already competed in an international pageant for gays. 29-year-old BPO manager Erimar Ortigas represented the Philippines during Mr. Gay World 2013 pageant where he finished in the Top 10 and was the fan voting winner.
The 3 judges, Jhong Hilario, Karylle and Liz Uy, had to vote either 'CONFIRMED', if they're convinced with the contestant's performance, or 'CONFUSED' if not, and they all gave 'CONFIRMED' votes to both, meaning it's a tie and both advanced to the next round.
Kudos to Showtime for coming up with another contest dedicated to the LGBT communtiy.
