Binibining Pilipinas 2014 finals is all set this coming Sunday, March 30, just 4 days away from now. We're so close to knowing who this year's winners are for the 5 titles:
Miss Universe Philippines
Binibining Pilipinas International
Bb. Pilipinas Supranational
Bb. Pilipinas Tourism
and the pageant's new title - Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental
I still have to come up with my final list of favorites or my predictions list (which will also consider votes from this blog's poll).
I was able to catch the Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Grand Parade held last Saturday, March 22, around Araneta Center and saw all 40 candidates in their yellow 2-piece swimsuit. From there, I can say that there were clear stand-outs and heavy favorites, as evidenced by the loud applause they got and the many people shouting their names, wanting them to smile for their camera.
Based on my observation at the parade, the heavy favorites who got the strongest chance of winning a title are: (in random order)
Special Mentions: These girls also rocked at the parade (at least for me) - Candidates #13 Kris Tiffany Janson, #22 Mary Ann Bianca Guidotti, #6 Anabel Christine Tia, #14 Emma Mary Tiglao, #17 Diana Arevalo, #11 Laura Victoria Lehmann, #7 Aiza Faeldonia, #1 Julian Aurine Flores, #27 Hannah Ruth Sison and #10 Shauna Indra Curran.
But of course, it's a very strong batch. It's gonna be pretty hard to pick who will be making it to the Top 15 semi-finals.
The grand coronation night of Bb. Pilipinas 2014 will have Venezuelan Miss Universe 2013 Maria Gabriela Isler as one of the judges and Russian pop star Emin as one of the performers. Hosting the event are Anne Curtis, Xian Lim and former Miss Universe Top 5 finalists Venus Raj and Shamcey Supsup.
