NBA Finals 2014 Game 1 Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs Final Scores: 95-110

It was a very exciting Game 1 in the best-of-7 NBA Finals 2014: Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs last night at the AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX (Friday morning MLA Time, aired via satellite on ABS-CBN).

1st Quarter ended with the SA Spurs having a 6-point lead, 20-26. But in the middle of the 2nd Quarter, Miami took the lead, 38-36, with 6:46 minutes remaining.

However, the Spurs quickly recovered the lead after Tony Parker made a jumper and a dunk. Scores now at 38-42, 5:21 left in the 1st half.

At halftime, SA Spurs still leading, 49-54.

Top scorers for the Heat at the half wre LeBron James 13 pts, Dwyane Wade - 12 pts, Chris Bosh - 10 pts and Ray Allen - 10 pts, while the Spurs were led by Tim Duncan - 15 pts, Manu Ginobili - 11 pts and Tony Parker - 10 pts.

During the 1st quarter, LeBron James has joined Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in the elite club of being the only players having scored 4000+ points, made 1000+ rebounds and 1000+ assists in the NBA playoffs. Whew!!!


And at the 3rd quarter, Spurs' lead even went up to 9 points at 11:22 of the quarter, 49-58.

A layup by Bosh, a 3-point shot by Rashard Lewis and another 3 by Wade trimmed down the lead to just 1, 57-58, 9:35 remaining, and they're already leading by 6, 75-69, 1:23 left.

3rd Quarter ended with the Heat ahead. 78-74.

The Heat's biggest lead in the game (7 points) came 9:37 left in the 4th Quarter.

With 4:58 minutes left, the Spurs gained back the lead. 90-92.

And it ended that way, with the Spurs winning Game by a big 16 points. 95-110.

Miami only scored 17 points in the 4th quarter, less than half of the Spurs' 36 points.

Spurs' Tim Duncan achieved a double-double: 21 points, 10 rebounds.
