Celine Dion Live in Manila concert, Asian tour CANCELED!

Celine Dion Live in Manila concert this coming November has been canceled! Not only Celine's Manila concert actually, but all of her shows scheduled in Asia and other parts of the world, starting from
this month until March 2015.

Oh, that's sad! I'm so sad to learn about it earlier 'coz I'm planning to watch her concert as post-birthday treat for myself.

Why did she cancel her shows? What happened?

According to the diva's statement posted in her website, she has postponed indefinitely all her shows that have been scheduled until March 22, 2015, for she wants to devote time for her husband (who's still healing from a surgery last December to remove a cancerous tumor) and for herself (who's still recovering from a throat illness).

"Postponed indefinitely" are the terms used in the statement, but I think it's as good as canceled already, since it would take a year or more before a new date is set, and also, those who have bought tickets already for her upcoming concerts can ask for a refund.

I'm still positive that Celine Dion's canceled shows, particularly her
Manila concert, will still push through hopefully next year.

Dion was supposed to hold a concert for the first time in Manila on November 29 at the MOA Arena, as well as concerts in other cities in Asia.

It could have been her comeback in Asia after her tour in the region in 2008.

We, her Pinoy fans, just have to wait for the right time when we finally hear Celine Dion singing live her classic hits "My Heart Will Go On", "It's All Coming Back To Me Now", "All By Myself", "Power Of Love", "I Love You Goodbye", "That's The Way It Is", "I Love You",
"Immortality" and many more.

Let's wish her and her husband good health and speedy recovery. I love you, Celine! - Mykiru.ph
